Every successful team at Nike needs a brilliant game plan. The North America Nike Brand Strategy team shapes and drives sport and lifestyle strategies across North America. We partner closely with senior leaders to develop long-term growth plans, solve complex business challenges, and lead transformative cross-functional initiatives that turn strategy into action across the marketplace.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As the Nike Brand North America Strategy Director, you will help lead the strategic planning process, develop strategic plans, and serve as a critical thought partner to North America Brand leadership on complex business challenges. In addition, you will independently lead cross-functional teams and be aligned to the projects below:
· Build Integrated Growth Plans: Drive integrated actions to win with athletes and deliver profitable growth. Help leaders solve their most pressing strategic questions through long-term growth plans. Conduct rigorous strategic analyses and synthesize insights into compelling recommendations and presentations.
· Develop Future Strategies: Create the path for Nike’s future. Develop frameworks, analyses, and strategic recommendations to unlock Nike’s largest growth opportunities. Scope the work, define workstreams, and serve as the overall project quarterback.
· Assess Impact: Assess performance against strategic plans and prioritize future actions. Support senior leaders in communicating strategies across the broader organization and develop KPIs to measure success.

You will collaborate across Nike’s North America Geography, including the North America Leadership Team, North America Brand Leadership Team, Strategy teammates, and cross-functional partners who help shape the future of sport in North America.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a proven strategy leader to shape and lead Nike Brand Strategy for North America.
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Applied Science, or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
· 9–10+ years of directly relevant work experience, including corporate or business-unit strategy, management consulting, corporate development, strategic planning, or experience in the retail or sport industry with a premier company.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
· Strong understanding of sport footwear/apparel, marketing, merchandising, retail, and the North America marketplace and competitive landscape.
· Demonstrated success leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
· Strong analytical skills and comfort with retail data, modeling, and forecasting.
· Experience developing and implementing strategic processes or frameworks.
· Excellent communication, facilitation, and change leadership skills.
· Experience managing multiple products, portfolios, or initiatives, and balancing diverse stakeholder needs while delivering tailored solutions.
· Exceptional storytelling skills across written, verbal, and presentation-based communication.
· Master of Business Administration and/or a similar graduate degree.
