Cookie Policy
Necessary privacy storage and optional Google Analytics. Your choice does not affect access to jobs or Job Alerts.

1. Two categories, no advertising tracking
Necessary technologies support site operation, security and remembering your privacy choice. Optional analytics uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page views and interactions with jobs, searches and Job Alerts. There is no enabled advertising category; advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain denied.
Before a valid analytics acceptance is restored or you explicitly accept, the Google script is not loaded and this integration initiates no GA requests. Rejection, closing the banner, scrolling, silence or continued browsing do not grant consent.

The Google library is downloaded from Google and sends consented measurements to Google Analytics endpoints; first-party cookies do not mean that data stays only with Sport Atlas. The durations above are documented defaults and may be shortened by your browser or settings. See Google’s cookie documentation.
The Sport Atlas application does not add an account/login cookie or advertising tracker. Technical storage used for essential site operation and security is separate from optional analytics.
3. Remembering a choice
The preference contains only version 1, analytics on/off and the choice timestamp. It is stored in localStorage in this browser for this website, not sent as a cookie with every website request, and is not used as a tracking identifier.
A valid grant or rejection is restored without repeatedly prompting. After 180 days, an obsolete version or invalid data, analytics remains off and a new choice is requested. A significant tracking/vendor change can invalidate the prior version. Storage may physically remain until the next application check because localStorage has no automatic expiry.
If browser storage is unavailable, analytics stays off. A rejected choice can be honoured for the current visit, but may need to be made again later.
4. Review or withdraw at any time
Select in the footer to reopen preferences. Necessary technologies remain on; Analytics is off until accepted. Accept and Reject are directly available on the first banner. Closing the banner or preferences, including Escape in preferences, selects necessary-only.
Withdrawing saves a rejection and disables our future analytics events without reloading the page. The application attempts to expire accessible _ga and _ga_* cookies for this website and applicable parent domains and paths. It does not delete unrelated cookies.
JavaScript cannot guarantee removal of cookies outside its accessible domain/path/security scope, including HttpOnly cookies. An already-loaded script or request already in flight cannot be recalled; withdrawal does not erase data already delivered to Google. If saving a withdrawal fails, the page keeps analytics off and warns you to retry or clear this site’s stored data before a future visit.
5. What analytics includes and excludes
The events sent by Sport Atlas measure views, Apply clicks, submitted searches, structured filters and alert-flow outcomes. They use limited metadata rather than raw search words, email addresses, tokens, subscriber/alert identifiers or complete external Apply URLs. URL fragments and queries are excluded from the page locations sent by these events.
Sport Atlas does not use analytics for advertising, remarketing or behavioural advertising. More information about service providers, international transfers, retention and your rights is in the Privacy Policy.
