About the role
ABOUT US: Become a key contributor within our engineering enablement team , taking on a central role in building internal products for the organisation including:
- An Internal Developer Platform (IDP) to empower software teams.
- A central pipeline to enable the SLDC.
- An observability platform to give high value telemetry.
- An Infrastructure platform to host the organisations workloads through containers.
We’re seeking someone with a preferably software engineering background who understands developer workflows, is passionate about automation, and thrives on making complex systems accessible and reliable for all. THE CHALLENGE:
- Work alongside development teams to design, automate, and scale resilient infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines optimized for rapid, secure delivery.
- Develop reusable frameworks and abstractions that remove friction in deploying, running, and monitoring services — enabling developers to focus on creating outstanding products.
- Drive the adoption of engineering best practices by mentoring peers, shaping standards, and transforming outdated processes into modern, maintainable solutions.
- Contribute to automation initiatives to minimize manual tasks, reduce operational risk, and ensure consistency across both legacy and new applications.
- Engage proactively with engineering teams to gather feedback and continuously evolve our platform, tooling, and developer experience.
ABOUT YOU:
- Experience in software engineering, with hands-on exposure to building and supporting production-grade systems .
- Understanding of Kubernetes and cloud platforms (preferably AWS); comfortable deploying and operating scalable, resilient workloads.
- Expertise in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar) and a natural inclination toward automation.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python, Go, Bash, etc.).
- Comprehensive grasp of CI/CD pipelines, observability, and security best practices .
- Collaborative and communicative — adept at mentoring teammates, advocating for modern engineering practices, and thriving in cross-functional squads.
