About the role
Veo is an AI-powered sports camera and analysis ecosystem built for one job: turning what happens on a pitch into proof. Capture, viewing, data and analytics, sharing- all in one system, all pointed at the same thing.
That's bigger than football. Every player, on every pitch, gets access to the kind of proof only the top academies used to keep for themselves. It's the future we're building.
Every youth match still has a moment nobody saw. A run that won the game, underneath everyone's radar. A kid written off before anyone actually checked. We exist to close that gap, one match at a time.
One camera on any pitch feeds an AI that tracks every player and the ball for the whole game, turning what happened into evidence instead of somebody's opinion.
That's the actual job here. Not shipping features. Building the system that gives proof to someone who used to rely on a hunch.
If you've ever watched a match and wondered who else saw what you saw, you already know why this matters.
We're looking for people who want to build that future with us.
We are looking for a Product Compliance Manager to join Veo's newly established Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) team.
As Veo continues to grow, we navigate a broad range of regulatory requirements across our products and business, from certifications, product safety, and environmental regulation to market access and broader compliance obligations.
In this role, you will focus on product-related regulatory compliance and certifications, while also working across Veo's broader compliance agenda. You will work closely with colleagues across Hardware, Product Development, Production, Procurement and other parts of the business to understand applicable requirements and help translate them into practical processes and solutions.
You will join a small GRC team with a broad mandate and significant exposure across Veo. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys understanding regulation, technology, and business.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate Veo's product certification and market-access activities across relevant markets, working closely with Hardware, Production and other internal stakeholders.
- Monitor and assess new and changing regulatory requirements relevant to Veo and help determine their practical implications for our products and business.
- Develop and maintain a structured overview of regulatory and certification requirements applicable to Veo's products throughout their lifecycle.
- Drive and coordinate implementation of regulatory and compliance requirements across relevant business functions, ensuring clear ownership, appropriate documentation and timely follow-up.
- Work with regulatory frameworks relevant to Veo's products, including areas such as product safety, batteries, electrical and electronic equipment, environmental requirements, waste and recycling obligations and related product compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with external certification bodies, laboratories, consultants and other specialists where required.
- Maintain and develop compliance documentation, certification records, technical files, declarations and other evidence required to demonstrate compliance.
- Support the assessment of regulatory and compliance implications when Veo enters new markets, introduces new products or makes material changes to existing products.
- Support Veo's broader compliance activities, including policies, procedures, monitoring, due diligence, risk assessments and training.
- Support customer, auditor and other stakeholder requests relating to compliance and certifications.
- Contribute to the continued development of Veo's broader GRC framework and take part in cross-functional compliance projects as required.
Your qualifications:
- Relevant higher education in engineering, technology, law, business, quality/compliance, or another relevant discipline.
- Relevant professional experience within product compliance, regulatory compliance, certification, quality/regulatory affairs or a similar area, preferably from an international company.
- Experience working with regulatory requirements affecting hardware or electronic products is an advantage.
- Experience with one or more areas such as product safety, product certifications, battery regulation, electrical/electronic equipment regulation, environmental product requirements, waste/recycling regulation or similar regulatory regimes.
- Experience coordinating certification processes, testing, technical documentation, declarations or interactions with certification bodies and laboratories is highly relevant.
- Broader compliance experience, for example within sanctions and export controls, third-party due diligence, anti-bribery and corruption or other corporate compliance areas, is an advantage.
- An ability to understand complex regulatory requirements and translate them into practical requirements for technical, operational and commercial teams.
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with experience coordinating initiatives across different functions and areas of expertise.
- A structured approach to documentation, monitoring and follow-up, combined with the ability to identify and prioritize material compliance risks.
- Strong business understanding and a pragmatic approach to compliance. You should be comfortable finding solutions that meet regulatory requirements while enabling the business to operate effectively.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership in an environment where processes and frameworks are still being developed.
- Strong communication skills and professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
At Veo, the Governance, Risk & Compliance team provides oversight, coordination and assurance across the company. We work closely with teams throughout Veo to ensure that regulatory requirements and risks are identified, appropriately owned and effectively managed.
You will report to the Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance and will have considerable opportunity to shape how Veo approaches compliance as the company continues to grow.
