  • Partner with design, manufacturing, inspection and assembly teams to solve quality issues and capture learning that improves future designs and processes.
  • Work with suppliers to assess capability, promote best-practice quality principles and ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability.
  • Lead structured problem-solving and containment activities for quality concerns, component failures and trackside car faults, reporting concerns to the appropriate stakeholders and driving resolution.
  • Create and deploy inspection control procedures, while supporting the development and auditing of operational work instructions and check sheets.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

  • Extensive quality engineering experience, supported by a degree in production engineering, mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong technical problem-solving and auditing skills, with knowledge of FMEA, process mapping and structured quality improvement techniques.

  • In-depth knowledge of carbon fibre and metallic manufacturing processes, together with a thorough understanding of metrology techniques and terminology.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

Personal Attributes

  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to build effective relationships across teams and the supply chain.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the confidence to raise quality concerns and support timely decision-making.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise performance-critical work.
  • The resilience and composure to perform effectively under pressure.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with the accountability, energy and determination to help set the standard for high performance.
