Senior Revenue Recovery Analyst

WHOOP is hiring a Senior Revenue Recovery Analyst to own and optimize strategies that protect and recover revenue across the member lifecycle. This role will focus on improving payment recovery, reducing device loss, and preventing scams and abuse while maintaining a high-quality member experience. You will use data to identify sources of revenue leakage, develop and test solutions, and partner across Product, Engineering, Finance, Membership Services, and other teams to drive measurable improvements in revenue recovery and loss prevention.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own key revenue recovery and loss-prevention metrics , including payment failure-to-success rate, device loss rate, and losses associated with scams and abuse
• Develop and execute strategies to improve payment recovery , identifying opportunities across payment retries and recovery workflows
• Identify the root causes and financial impact of device loss and develop scalable strategies to improve device recovery and reduce associated losses
• Identify emerging patterns of scams and abuse , partnering cross-functionally to develop preventative measures that minimize financial loss while preserving a strong member experience
• Build a rigorous testing and measurement framework to evaluate revenue recovery initiatives, quantify incremental impact, and continuously optimize performance
• Assist in incident response for revenue-impacting events , coordinating cross-functional teams to rapidly assess impact, mitigate losses and resolve root causes.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, Membership Services, Legal, and other stakeholders to prioritize and implement initiatives that balance revenue recovery, risk mitigation, operational complexity, and member experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience in payments, revenue operations, fraud/risk, or similar field
• Demonstrated experience using data and experimentation to identify opportunities, diagnose issues, and drive measurable business outcomes
• Experience developing or optimizing strategies related to payment recovery, fraud and abuse prevention, loss prevention, or similar revenue-protection programs
• Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to quantify the impact of revenue leakage and build compelling business cases for solutions
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives involving Product, Engineering, Finance, Operations, or other stakeholders
• Ability to balance revenue optimization and risk reduction with the member experience, applying sound judgment in ambiguous or rapidly evolving situations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex problems and data into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.

This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000 - $150,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.

In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.

These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
