We are seeking a driven, motivated, and proactive Configuration Controller with a keen eye for detail to ensure any engineering change, or related power unit configuration data is accurate across multiple systems.
Your responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and update Bills of Materials (BoMs) within TeamCenter.
- Ensure BoM structures accurately reflect approved product definitions and engineering changes.
- Perform BoM audits and validation activities to verify completeness, accuracy and compliance.
- Investigate and resolve BoM discrepancies in collaboration with engineering and operational teams.
- Monitor configuration status and maintain records of approved changes.
- Administer the creation, review, release and revision of technical specifications and controlled documents.
- Ensure specifications are maintained under appropriate document control and version management processes.
- Verify that approved changes are reflected consistently across specifications, drawings, BoMs and related documentation.
- Maintain specification registers and configuration records.
- Support periodic reviews of controlled documentation to ensure currency and compliance.
Your experience:
- Experience working within configuration control, document control, engineering data management or a related discipline.
- Understanding of Bill of Materials (BoM) structures and change control processes.
- Experience administering controlled technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of data accurately.
- Good organisational and planning skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management Software (such as Siemens TeamCentre) would be preferred, but not essential.
