CYBERSECURITY ANALYTICS & GOVERNANCE ANALYST INFORMATION SECURITY GOVERNANCE

PURPOSE:

Join a team at the intersection of cybersecurity governance, data, business, and artificial intelligence. We help leaders make informed security decisions by transforming complex information into meaningful insights, driving security accountability, managing risks and remediation efforts, and continuously improving governance processes through data analytics, automation, and AI-powered solutions.

As part of our team, you will gain hands-on experience across multiple cybersecurity governance disciplines, including security reporting, business partnering, InfoSec issue management, InfoSec Governance, Risk & Compliance platforms, asset security ratings, and emerging AI technologies. You will work closely with security experts and technology teams around the world while contributing to initiatives that directly influence how cybersecurity is managed across a global organization.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

INFORMATION SECURITY REPORTING

Support the creation of security reporting, dashboards, and data-driven insights that provide visibility into cybersecurity performance, risks, and trends. Help transform complex security data into meaningful information that supports decision-making by security, technology, and business leaders.

AI & AUTOMATION INITIATIVES

Work on innovative initiatives that leverage artificial intelligence to enhance governance processes through advanced data analysis, trend identification, process automation, and the development of AI-powered agents that improve the way security services are delivered and consumed.

INFORMATION SECURITY GRC OPERATIONS

Contribute to the operation and continuous improvement of our Information Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) platform, which supports end-to-end Information Security issue management, control maturity assessments, local security assessments, and cyber regulatory compliance activities across the organization.

ASSET SECURITY RATING

Support the evaluation of confidentiality, integrity, and availability requirements for business applications and technology assets. These assessments help determine security ratings and the corresponding security controls required to protect critical systems and information.

INFORMATION SECURITY BUSINESS PARTNERING

Collaborate with Information Security Business Partners who work closely with senior stakeholders across technology and business functions to drive security accountability, manage risks, and support cybersecurity initiatives.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• College or university degree with focus on IT, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years of IT experience, including at least 1 year in cybersecurity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent English skills (verbal and written).
• Specific technical skills (role dependent): Foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles, concepts, and best practices acquired through education, internships, work experience, certifications, or personal projects. Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, standards, or control frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-53, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, CIS Controls). Basic understanding of information security risk management, security controls, and governance concepts. Experience working with data, reporting, dashboards, or analytical tools to support decision making. Ability to analyse information from multiple sources and translate findings into clear and actionable insights.
• Nice to have technical skills: Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI. Experience with data ingestion, integration, transformation, or automation technologies (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Power Automate, Fabric, Logic Apps). Experience building or configuring AI-powered solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio or similar platforms. Experience supporting or administering Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) platforms (e.g., Hyperproof, Archer, MetricStream). Familiarity with cybersecurity issue management, remediation tracking, and risk governance processes. Experience with SQL, data modelling, or data visualization concepts. Knowledge of process automation, workflow design, and low-code/no-code solutions.
• Ability to cope with change, make decisions, and act comfortably when confronted with risk or uncertainty.
• Proactivity and “team player” attitude, with strong problem solving skills, hands on approach, and a growth mindset.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and adapt messages to different audiences and stakeholders.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Ability to build positive working relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders through professionalism, collaboration, and reliability.
