About the role
As the Store Manager , you will lead the store and ensure its financial success, efficient operations, and exceptional customer experiences while growing the Salomon consumer base within the community. The Store Manager is responsible for building and leading a high performing store team to ensure that they;

The Store Manager provides the highest level of customer experience and deliver the vision for the brand, supporting and mentoring the Assistant Store Manager and Sales Associates with their personal and career development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily:
Leadership
- Motivate and inspire the team through the articulation of a compelling vision for the store, reflecting and maximizing the power of the Salomon brand
- Manage all aspects of the store balanced scorecard [people, operations, finance and customer] to deliver consistently high performing results
Customer Service
- Ensure that the team understand the customer needs and profile so they are able to deliver consistently high-quality service
- Present and visible on the shop floor, interacting productively with customers and team members
Operations
- Effectively manage the store inventory levels ensuring the market and customer needs are met
- Deliver operational best practice through partnership with the District Manager
- Oversee activity, adhering to building safety &, health and safety standards and inspections; maintaining a safe and secure environment for the team and customers
- Manage the staff scheduling ensuring appropriate staff cover
- Ensure the company’s policies are understood and adopted by all team members
Sales and Finance
- Manages the payroll to achieve the budgeted level of payroll spend and the in-store customer service experience
- Monitor a loss prevention program to protect the company’s inventory and assets
- Analysis of sales trends to ensure optimal product selection and maximisation of sales
- Deliver the P&L and retail KPI’s in line with budget and forecast
Recruitment, Training and Education
- Effectively lead and deliver all Sales Associate recruitment
- Work with the ASM to ensure that all members of the team receive effective onboarding and ongoing training and education
- Actively support and deliver the personal career development opportunities of the store team
